Hi, I am Cheryl Carpenter and one half of the CREST Team. I focus on being a "Residential Real Estate Specialist" and have extensive experience in this area. I first studied Real Estate at Kent State University in Ohio and obtained my Ohio license in 1987.   After moving to California in 1989 I studied California Real Estate at Victor Valley College and received a California Real Estate license the same year. My first California real estate experience was serving the high desert residential real estate market in Apple Valley, Victorville and Hesperia from 1989 to 1994. I have been serving buyers and sellers in South Orange County with an emphasis on San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point area since 1994. Starting over three times in my Real Estate career has taught me the importance of knowing the local markets, building relationships, and appreciating referrals. It has also sharpened my skills in the areas of marketing and research.

Hello, my name is Ron Carpenter, the other half of the CREST Team. I spent many years helping Cheryl, my wife, set up and monitor Open Houses being conducted for her clients. Through this experience I realized the enjoyment of working with clients buying and selling homes. In 2004 I obtained my Real Estate license so I could answer questions, assist clients, and negotiate transactions. It was a smooth transition for me to transfer many years of business management experience to a Real Estate practice. I have a Transportation Degree from the University of Akron and completed classes at the Anthony School of Real Estate to obtain a California Real Estate License. I have experience working with national and international companies, negotiating pricing contracts, service agreements, union labor issues, and vendor contracts. That experience taught me that no matter what is being negotiated, the best result is when all parties to the transaction are satisfied with the agreement.
