CREST Team Blog

Dana Point, CA

Continuing with the second of my three part series on towns served by the CREST Team, I focus this month on Dana Point. Dana Point Harbor has to be one of the most beautiful and pleasant places in the whole country. William Henry Dana Jr. must have known immediately that he had stumbled upon a very special place.

The area originally known as Capistrano Bay is today called Dana Point. This town has appeal to people of all ages and interests. If you are interested in Ocean activities, Dana Point can satisfy a wide range of those interests. You can enjoy all types of Boating, Jet Skis, Surfing, Fishing and Whale watching, just to get you started. Spend a day at the Harbor and you will see many more water activities that you may not have even thought about. You can also visit the Marine Museum, schedule a visit to see the Tall Ships festival, and if you come down on Thanksgiving morning you can join the thousands of runners taking part in either the 5K or 10K runs that make up the annual Dana Point Turkey Trot. For the Cycling enthusiast, there are some great bike trails including a scenic ride along San Juan Creek. If you are more interested in a relaxing stroll and visiting quaint little shops, there is plenty of that to experience. Adjacent to the Harbor is Doheny State Park. The Park and the beaches alone are worth a trip to town but when the Music Festivals are visiting, this is a special place to visit. I could go on and on about all the fine restaurants, Art exhibits, activities, clubs and associations and probably still miss something. If you haven’t already experienced what Dana Point has to offer, put it on your short list.

With a population of just over 35,000 people the area has a very homey and comfortable feel. Dana Point offers a wide range of homes, enough to suit almost anyone’s taste. If you are looking for a hone in this wonderful little town you can find Beachfront, Ocean View, Townhomes, Condos, or Apartments. We encourage you to visit Dana Point. If you decide to stay, please give us a call. We would love to show you around town and help you find that special home.
